Palma International Boat Show 2026 — Ponent Yachts at Moll Vell

08/04/2026

The Palma International Boat Show 2026 takes place from April 29 to May 2, 2026 in Palma de Mallorca, marking the start of the nautical season in the Mediterranean. The event is held at Marina Moll Vell — one of the most atmospheric boat show venues in Europe — and brings together hundreds of yachts, dozens of exhibitors, and thousands of boating enthusiasts from across the continent. Ponent Yachts exhibits at the show for the second consecutive year, presenting the Invictus GT 280 and the Capoforte CXi 280 on the water.

About the Palma Boat Show

The Palma International Boat Show is one of the most important maritime events in the western Mediterranean, attracting visitors from mainland Spain, the UK, Germany, France, and Scandinavia. Unlike the major autumn shows in Cannes or Genoa, Palma is a spring event — which means the vessels on display are immediately available for purchase and can be used in the Balearics for the upcoming season without delay. The atmosphere at Moll Vell is relaxed and accessible compared to the larger shows: the historic port setting, the proximity of the old town, and the scale of the event (manageable in a day) make it particularly pleasant for serious buyers who want quality conversations rather than crowded stands.

Ponent Yachts at Stand — What to See

We bring two boats to the show this year, both on the water berths at Moll Vell where you can board, inspect, and discuss specifications with our team.

Invictus GT 280 — On-Water Display

The Invictus GT 280 is the entry point to Invictus's prestigious GT gran turismo range. At approximately 8.8 metres overall length, it is one of the most versatile boats in the Invictus catalogue — large enough to accommodate six guests in genuine comfort, agile enough for a day trip to Cala Figuera or a weekend passage to Formentera. The show unit is fitted with Mercury V8 300 hp in the standard configuration with hull colour in Personal White. Our team will have the full options book available, including hull colour chips, upholstery samples, and the latest factory pricing for 2026 model year delivery.

Capoforte CXi 280 — Italian Open-Deck Style

The Capoforte CXi 280 represents the pinnacle of Capoforte's distinctive walk-around open cockpit design. The CXi 280 stretches to approximately 9 metres and carries up to eight people in its generously proportioned cockpit, with a shaded helm station that keeps the skipper comfortable during long days in the Balearic sun. The show unit is finished in Capoforte Blue — a custom shade exclusive to the brand — with cream upholstery throughout. Capoforte is part of the Invictus Yacht group, and as official Balearic dealers for both brands, Ponent Yachts can offer the complete model range from a single point of contact.

Why Visit the Palma Boat Show as a Buyer

A boat show offers several advantages over a standard dealership visit. You can walk from berth to berth and compare boats from multiple manufacturers in a single afternoon — something that would require weeks of individual appointments across different marinas. The Palma show attracts most of the major brands active in the Spanish market, giving you a complete picture of what is available at different price points and specifications in 2026. You can also speak to specialists in marine finance, insurance, and logistics — useful for international buyers who are navigating the Spanish registration process for the first time.

For buyers who have already identified a specific model and come to the show with a purchase in mind, a boat show is also an advantageous negotiating environment — dealers are motivated to write orders during the four days of the event, and factory-order slots for the 2026 production run are typically allocated at boat shows.

Practical Information for Visitors

The show is open from 10:00 to 20:00 on all four days. Tickets are available at the gate at Moll Vell, located at the eastern end of the Paseo Marítimo in central Palma. Parking in the area is limited — we recommend arriving by taxi from the city centre or using the Paseo Marítimo public transport links. If you are travelling to Palma specifically for the show, Palma de Mallorca International Airport (PMI) has direct connections to most major European cities, and the journey from the airport to Moll Vell takes approximately 20 minutes by taxi.

Book a Private Show Appointment with Ponent Yachts

If you prefer a less crowded introduction to our boats, we offer private appointments at our show berths before official opening hours on request. These slots are available from 09:00 to 10:00 each morning of the show and give you the opportunity to walk through both vessels and speak with our senior broker without interruption. To request a private appointment, contact us before April 25. We can also arrange a test drive on the water from the show location on the afternoon of the last day (May 2) for pre-qualified buyers.

Can't make it to Palma? We return to Port Adriano on May 3rd with both boats immediately available for sea trials. Contact us to schedule a visit →
